THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Required Personal Information
Each person who registers on the RosterBoard website is required to provide their email address. We require this information so that we can contact our users. In addition, all users are required to provide their first and last names, gender, birth date, high school information, sports interest and in certain cases zip code. We collect this information so that we can identify individuals, personalize our service and provide additional content tailored to our registered users. However, RosterBoard's use of school names is without permission and such use is not authorized by, associated with or sponsored by the schools. Finally, we require users to select a password to ensure that they are the only person who can control their personal information. You can view or change your information at any time by clicking on the Edit link on your main profile page.
Optional Personal Information
In addition to the required registration information, you may provide additional information about yourself or others, such as schedules, sports statistics, scores, favorite athletes, photos, videos, and more. You should be aware that RosterBoard does not review or confirm the accuracy of any schedules, sports statistics or scores since this information is provided by users. RosterBoard allows you to post this information so that we can make it available to others who wish to learn more about you and to personalize the RosterBoard services. We also use this information to better understand our users. Providing this information enhances the RosterBoard service for both you and other users, but doing so is completely optional.
Other Collected Information
We may also collect certain non-personally identifiable information (generic information that does not identify you personally) when you visit any of our web pages including the following:
- Cookies Information: When you visit the RosterBoard website, we may send one or more cookies (a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters) to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. RosterBoard uses both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser help file directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the RosterBoard website may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.
- Log File Information: When you use the RosterBoard website, our servers automatically record certain information that your web browser sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser language, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
- Clear GIFs Information: When you use the RosterBoard Website, we may employ "clear GIFs" (also known as web beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously (that is, in a non-personally-identifiable manner). In addition, we may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
RosterBoard requires users to register for the service and provide personal information including but not limited to the user's name, address, birthdate, jersey information and email address. RosterBoard uses this information to establish and deliver service to the individual. RosterBoard may use this information to contact registered users to notify them of product and service updates, provide instruction, and to deliver other service related information. RosterBoard may also contact users to request additional information and feedback. RosterBoard may employ companies and people to perform tasks on its behalf, and will need to share personal information with these agents to establish and deliver service to the individual. RosterBoard's agents do not receive any right to use personal information beyond what is necessary to perform these tasks. RosterBoard will not disclose registration information to third parties, including, but not limited to, companies affiliated with RosterBoard, without your consent or as otherwise stated in this privacy policy. If at some point RosterBoard sells all or a portion of its assets, customer information is one of those assets that would be transferred or acquired by a third party; the third party would then have the right to continue using the personal information as set forth in this policy. RosterBoard may release or exchange personal information if required to do so to comply with applicable law or to enforce its rights or agreements or prevent fraud or reduce credit risk. Please note that, except for your email address and password, any information that you provide to us or post on the RosterBoard website (in your RosterBoard profile, on discussion boards, in message areas or on other areas of the website) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others. Any of such information, including photos and videos may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels. Although you may limit public access to certain of your information, we recommend not posting any information that you may consider private, sensitive or that you don't want other people to know or to redistribute. We will use the personal information you provide online to operate, maintain and provide the features and functionality of the RosterBoard website. For example, we may send you an email notification if you have won a contest. We may also send you an email offering products or services which we think you may be interested in. For example, we may send to you an email regarding special merchandise offers and announcements about products or services offered by us or an affiliated company. We may also contact you offline by sending you special offers, promotions and catalogs, which we think may be of interest to you. RosterBoard may automatically collect and analyze information regarding the use of RosterBoard's services and RosterBoard site activity. Information collected may include but is not limited to web site traffic volume, frequency of visits, type and time of transactions, type of browser and operating system, etc. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, administer the site, and improve the quality and types of service delivered. RosterBoard may also collect, track and analyze information that does not personally identify a user in aggregate form. This aggregate data will be used at RosterBoard's discretion and may be shared with third parties, but with no personally identifiable information attached. Registered users will be using the site to host relationship data. Relationship data sent to RosterBoard servers by the user will remain the property of the user. RosterBoard will not review, share, distribute or reference such data except as may be required to provide the requested RosterBoard services, or as provided in the RosterBoard Terms of Use Agreement, or as may be required by law.
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code or email), or if a user no longer desires our service, we provide a way to correct, update or delete/deactivate users' personally identifiable information. This can usually be done via the " Profile" page or by emailing our customer support at support@rosterboard.com.
EMAIL CHOICE/OPT-OUT
We will send periodic updates on RosterBoard to our registered users that may include, but not limited to, news, promotions, merchandise, member updates, updates on new functionality and the announcement of contest winners. Users who no longer wish to receive our email updates or other email notifications may opt-out of receiving these communications by terminating their registration or opting out.
COOKIES & BEACONS
RosterBoard uses cookies and beacons to assist in delivering the service and to provide a positive and personalized user experience. Cookies are files sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Our persistent and session ID Cookies are used to identify unique visitors and to provide a personalized user experience. Beacons are bits of code that function similar to cookies. Our beacons are embedded in outgoing emails and generate a call back to the RosterBoard server when such emails are opened. RosterBoard uses beacons to track the status of sent emails.
SECURITY
RosterBoard has implemented processes designed to protect user information and maintain security. Each registered user is assigned a unique user name and password which is required to access their account and relationship information. It is the user's responsibility to protect the security of their login information. RosterBoard's servers are located in secure server environments. Firewalls and other advanced security technologies are employed to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data.

RosterBoard's sites may contain links to third party web sites not associated with RosterBoard. RosterBoard is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites. Users will need to review the policy statements of these sites to understand their privacy policies.
FORUMS, MESSAGE BOARDS, NEWSGROUPS AND COMMUNITY TOOLS
From time to time we may make forums, message boards, newsgroups and other community tools available to you. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information for other users to view and for us to use. For example, from time to time, we may use the content you write (including your name) for promotional purposes, in email newsletters or elsewhere. By using RosterBoard and/or these forums, message boards, news groups, and other community tools, you agree that we may do so. RosterBoard reserves the right to make changes to this privacy statement. Any material changes to this statement will be prominently posted online and accessible via the RosterBoard user portal 30 days prior to taking effect.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR PARENTS
If you have concerns about the RosterBoard Website or its services or wish to terminate your child's registration, please email us. Our site will not knowingly accept personal information from anyone under 13 years old in violation of applicable laws. If you believe that your child under 13 has gained access to our site without your permission, please email us. We have taken commercially reasonable steps to restrict use of this site to those who are at least 13 years old. We do not sell products for purchase by children and all children's products we sell are for purchase by adults only, or with adult permission.
